Educational Content Only

NoorIlm is an educational platform. All content — including Quranic explanations, fiqh comparisons, guides, sirah narratives, and scholarly biographies — is provided for learning and reference purposes only.

We do not issue fatwas. The fiqh section presents scholarly positions from all four Sunni madhabs side by side so you can understand the range of opinion. This is not a substitute for consulting a qualified scholar about your personal circumstances. Always seek guidance from a trusted, knowledgeable scholar for rulings that affect your worship and daily life.

User Accounts

Creating an account is optional. If you do create one, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information (a valid email address and a reasonable display name)
• Be at least 13 years of age (or have parental consent)
• Keep your login credentials secure — you are responsible for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content from the site using automated tools
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use the platform to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content
• Misrepresent NoorIlm content as your own fatwas or authoritative rulings
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation

Intellectual Property

Quran Text & Translations

The Arabic Quran text (Uthmanic script) and English translations displayed on NoorIlm are sourced from Quran.com and the Quran Foundation. Audio recitations are from QuranCDN. These resources are made available under their respective terms.

Hadith References

Hadith citations and links reference Sunnah.com, which provides searchable hadith collections. We link to their platform for verification and further reading.

Original Content

Explanations, fiqh comparisons, guides, sirah narratives, scholarly biographies, insight articles, and all other original written content on NoorIlm is created by the NoorIlm team. You may share links to our content freely. Reproducing substantial portions of our original content on other platforms requires attribution.

Limitation of Liability

NoorIlm is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make every effort to ensure accuracy, but we are not liable for:

• Errors or omissions in any content (if you spot one, please let us know)
• Decisions you make based on content found on this platform
• Temporary unavailability of the service due to maintenance or technical issues
• Third-party content accessed through external links

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of NoorIlm after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
