inna l-mutaqīna fī ẓilālin waʿuyūnin
Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs
wafawākiha mimmā yashtahūna
And fruits from whatever they desire,
kulū wa-ish'rabū hanīan bimā kuntum taʿmalūna
[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."
innā kadhālika najzī l-muḥ'sinīna
Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
waylun yawma-idhin lil'mukadhibīna
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
kulū watamattaʿū qalīlan innakum muj'rimūna
[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals.
waylun yawma-idhin lil'mukadhibīna
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
wa-idhā qīla lahumu ir'kaʿū lā yarkaʿūna
And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow.
waylun yawma-idhin lil'mukadhibīna
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
fabi-ayyi ḥadīthin baʿdahu yu'minūna
Then in what statement after it [i.e., the Qur’ān] will they believe?
